Victoria Dawe grew up in Cornwall in South West England where nature more then man has shaped the landscape through time. She studied photography at Plymouth college of art and design and then in 2000 chose London to follow a career as an artist and photographer. To learn all about Victoria and her work click here.
Early inspiration: David Hockney, My dad and all the photographers I worked with assisting
Current inspiration: The world we live in, stolen moments of real emotion, lifestyles and architecture. Different cultures and the change of time.
Favourite Artists: David Hockney’s joiners, Vladimir Tretchikoff. Sebastio Salgado. Nadav Kander, Andreas Gursky, Edward Burtynsky. The NASA astronauts from the book / exhibition full moon who took such beautiful joiners of the surface of the moon.
